Does anyone know anything about having our children have dual citizenship? Is it possible? Is it easily enough done? What are the pros and cons?

Since we've started the process to adopt from Ethiopia, a family member of mine has adopted two kids out of the foster care system, and just gave birth to another baby last night--child #5 total. (We won't discuss whether it was a good idea to intentionally have baby #5 while still in initial transition with an adopted RAD daughter...)

I know this is jealousy and I need to be happy for her, etc, but it's hard to still be waiting. To top that off, my boys were asking me the other day if/when I'm going to get another baby in my tummy. Which isn't an option for us anymore. Just a lot of emotions, and I want to hold my ET babies!

I figured some of you here would understand! I promise I'm not usually such a whiny person.

I accidently deleted the Javascript that defines my blog design. I can't remember whose I used, but it was free. I'm scared to replace it without some expert guidance. I don't want to take the chance of losing my whole blog. Any ideas?

Of those who went through an open adoption with NEDC, how long was it from the mock transfer until you were matched? I am just curious of about how long we should expect to wait.

ETA: Also, I did do a Google search, but so much of the information is either outdated or wayyy over my head in terms of understanding. I was just curious if there were any resources out there that you think are particularly informative.

We received our monthly update today and I had to share how precious it is. We have several new pictures of Isaiah and a group shot at Gelegela with his friends I am sure several of your children are in this picture!
Even one of him looking at our photo book.
Now just waiting on that court date...

We haven't heard anything about travel, yet. Please pray for some news soon.

Hello everyone. You are all probably going to think I am a nut and a not so good friend......but here it is.
I have a friend, who less than 8 months ago, started the ET adoption process with another agency. She has her referral and will be home before Christmas with her 3 MONTH old son. I am happy for her, but I am struggling. I don't understand how it could happen so quickly with that agency and be so slow with us. There are MANY of you that have been waiting longer than we have (7 months). I know there have been changes made in the wait times. When we started the process, we were told the wait times were less than what they have been. Things change, I get that. I am struggling for patience. I know it will happen in God's time. My rational side tells me this everyday. My child/ren aren't ready for me yet. Could you please say a prayer for me for patience and to be supportive of my friend, who is about to experience such joy? I could use your help.

Also, does anybody understand the difference in the way agencies process adoptions?
