Absolutely. The green-eyed monster has gotten ahold of me a few times. I've been witness to the announcement of a pregnancy, celebrated when the daughter was born, and celebrated her first birthday, all while we have been completing paperwork or waiting. Sometimes it just seems like every step of our adoption journey had taken so much longer than the "norm" (whatever that is.) I really have to fight to squelch my jealousy sometimes.



Not easy, is it? I'm trying to remember that God has a different plan for each of us and we just have to keep on following his plan--even when it's annoying! ;)
